What we are looking for in our Solution Architect

As Solution Architect, you will be an important part of our Enterprise Projects Team. You will be working in an international environment with a team of enterprise consultants (Architects and Project Managers) interfacing our Product and DevOps teams on one side and large educational institutions or ministries across the world on the other side.  

About you

As Solution Architect the primary work tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for acting as the bridge between the customer and the product teams, having an ability to translate and scope technical and business requirements.
  • Working with the customer to turn business objectives into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Responsible for understanding the customers business model, processes, user journeys and values in detail to ensure a successful translation of objectives to requirements
  • Provide functional and operational recommendations to customers and potential customers.
  • Pro-actively Work with customers to design new processes to support their change to digitisation of assessments
  • Articulate design solutions for Inspera’s customers, and articulate what is “out of the box” for Inspera Assessment
  • Create written and oral deliverables tied to Inspera Assessment product fit, high level business requirement analysis, and implementation effort.
  • Develop, document, and provide input into the product roadmap.
  • Implement and maintain best practices, standards & guidance for developing e-assessment solutions
  • Provide the functional content for Request for Proposal (RFP) and inputs to Request for Information (RFI), present RFP materials to cross functional client teams.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify potential gaps for future customers.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Relevant experience, including enterprise consulting experience
  • Educated to at least academic degree level
  • Experience in working with (or in) academic institutions or enterprise projects is preferred
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to translate operational and technical requirements.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments
  • Understanding of different development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall and different project management frameworks
  • Experience using Atlassian Confluence and Jira would be an advantage
  • Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humour and a positive attitude are always a plus.

You will be working in a fast paced and diverse team of expert sales consultants, designers, project managers, assessment researchers, data scientists and engineers based at Inspera’s offices in London, Oslo, Stockholm, Aarhus and Timisoara.

Travel requirements

The main working location is our central London office, with the option to work from home as required. You should also estimate up to 30 travelling days a year for trips to other Inspera offices and for conferences and on site presentations to customers (Covid-19 permitting).
